    Semantic Web:

People put their stuff in their computers. The places where people work put their stuff in their computers. You can make money and find cool things when you share your stuff with other people. It is also cool when they share their stuff with you.

If computers know how to find and use your stuff, then they can help other people find and use your stuff. This is important because we have too much stuff! We can’t find anything. We need help from the computers.

We need to come up with good ways of sharing this stuff. You can’t just do any old thing. If everyone did that, then no one could find anything without working really, really hard.

So, some nice people got together and agreed on some good ways of sharing stuff. They have big brains and know how to do good things. They have shown us the good ways of sharing our stuff. If you do what they have said to do, then it won’t be so hard to share your stuff with your friends. Then, you too, can make money and find cool things.
